5K + 10K Time Trial + Brunch

Come out for Social Run Clubs 8th 6K and 5th 10K Time Trial. We have a 5K/10K course picked out and this is your chance to see what your time. It's a great way to see where you're at and in Feb 2023 we'll do another one to help you track your process.

What to expect:

This is a low cost 5K/10K Time Trial. That means there aren't any timing chips, but we have bibs (hurray). We'll be doing it old fashioned with a stop watch, but this is your chance to push a little harder to see what your time is.

Bag Storage

Start and Finish are close to each other, so you can leave a small bag and we'll do our best to watch it. We are not responsible for anything missing so please do not leave valuables.

Support Crew

If you're interested in coming out and supporting the event and runners, but don't want to or can't run, SRC would love some support. We need people to time, take photos, help corral runners and watch bags.

Course Route

Unfortunately our website software doesn't support multiple photos or videos in events (I know, right?!), so you can see the course images and a youtube course video on the Time Trial page.

Because this event has grown significantly, we're introducing early registration discounts. It takes time to coordinate people and event more so with last minute additions. See the pricing below:

• Now -  Jan 28th: $10 + taxes
• Jan 29th - Feb 3rd: $15 + taxes
• Feb 4th - Feb 5th: $20 + taxes

• 8:45 - 5Kers arrive
• 9:00 - 5K Starts
• 9:40 - 5K Finishes
• 10:15 - Brunch at Yaletown Distillery Restaurant (while room lasts)

After Party

After the Time Trial we're going to go for Brunch but that depends on how many people sign up, so it'll be announced close to the event.
