About the Event
Deadpool and Wolverine is coming out and Ryan Reynold's soccer/football team is in town to play the Whitecaps! We believe he deserves to be able to move around the city he was born freely and what a better way to allow this than by normalizing Deadpool costumes.
So grab your deadpool costume and come for a run with us and we'll end at a pub and have some bevvies. And Ryan, if you're reading this, feel free to join us
The jog will be an easy 30 min jog, we'll slow down and stick together.
The pub that we're heading to hasn't been decided but that really depends on our group size.
Agenda:
- 6:00pm - Arrive at Science World (The main entrance)
- 6:15pm - Run Starts
- 7:00pm - End up at Pub and enjoy some drinks
All levels of runner welcome. We'll be trying to stick together, but if there are speed demons that want to take off, you're more than welcome to.
Theme: Deadpool - The only acceptable costume is Deadpool
Need ideas for where to find a costume:
- Amy's on Davie is a dollar store that has some great bright accessories.
- Dressew in Gastown is great (they also have a much larger selection online)
