SRC & 2XU Social Run & Coffee

Sun Run is coming up fast and we're doing a training run with 2XU to keep you on track! This is our Sat Social Run and Coffee so it's perfect for runners of all levels. We’ll be running for 30 minutes, covering around 4-5K at a relaxed pace. And 2XU is gifting prize packs after

Prizes

After the run, 2XU is gifting 10 prize packs (each valued at $100) to participants. So get excited! To get entered into the raffle:

1. Register for the run

2. Show up and check in

3. Prize packs will be raffled at the end of the run

Heres how Saturdays normally go:

Quick Agenda:

1. Club Annoucements

2. Quick icebreaker (posted on instagram that morning)

3. Break into pace groups, 

4. Jog 

5. Post run coffee and baked goods (sometimes gelato).

Paces:

Our pace groups are: 6, 6:30 and 7mins/K

This is meant to be social, so find an easy pace for you, so you can chat and meet some great people. Remember when you run and talk, your pace slows down significantly (at least 30secs/K) or you start huffing and puffing. 

We'd also love to open up slower pace groups or if you'd like to just come and use the group as an accountability session, you can start with us and then meet us for coffee after.

Post Run:

We'll end at Yaletown Roundhouse, we'll do some stretching, then do the raffle for the 2XU Prize Packs. You can stick around and grab a coffee and chat with the other runners. It's a great way to start the weekend
