The Amazing Vancouver Run 2024

Social Run Club (SRC) present the Amazing Vancouver Run. This race in no way is affliated with the TV series The Amazing Race.

We have a limited amount of space, so sign up as soon as you can. It's going to be a blast and there are over $10,000 in prizes!

Pricing

SRC is a registered Non-Profit and supports physical and mental health for people in the Vancouver area. 

A donation to the club secures your team spot in the race! Get ready to have some fun:

• $20* per Team of 2

*No refunds are offered for the event and changing team members is  availible for a $5 fee per person per transfer until Oct 1st at 11:59pm

How it works

This is generally how it works:

• People will participate in teams of 2

• Teams will have 120 mins for teams to get to different locations

• At each location they will be asked to participate in a challenge/activity

• Teams will collect raffle entries for a random draw prize at the closing ceremonies

• There is

  NOT a prize for the fastest team,

  this event is meant for everyone to move, connect and have fun.

• Depending on the route teams will be walking or jogging 5-7K over the event

• Given the time restraints, it will be hard for any team to reach all of the stations, please choose the ones that work for you

Agenda

• 8:00 - Registration opens (Early Registration is available - more details to come)

• 8:55 - Rules overview

• 9:00 - First wave of teams starts in Downtown Vancouver

• 11:45 - Event Ends

• 11:55 - Closing Ceremonies & Prizes

Team

• You must participate in a team of two, no single entries are allowed

• At least one member of the team

  must have a phone with access to the internet

• Changing team members is available for a $5 fee per person per transfer until Oct 1st at 11:59pm

Activities/Challenges

• At each station, teams will be asked to complete a challenge, they will have an opportunity to get raffle draw entries

• Bonus entries may be available at an activity based on the quality of the task completed or

  by sharing photos on Social Media (instagram)

• The challenges are designed to take teams 60-90secs and are meant to be fun

Prizes

There are over $10,000 worth of prizes to be randomly drawn for participating teams. At least one team member must be present at the closing ceremories to collect a prize. More details on prizes to be announced

• Get two bonus entries (per team) if your team is dressed in matching colours. Just to be clear, white and black do not count as matching colours.  OR

Additional Information

• Social Run Club retains the right to remove a team for inappropriate language, behaviour or conduct prior to or after the start of the event

• All businesses are operational during the event, please be patient with their staff.

• There will not be bag drops at this event.

• This event is not meant to be speed based. please be mindful of the other people at store or in public spaces.

• Tickets cannot be refunded and changing team members is available for a $5 fee per person per transfer until Oct 1st at 11:59pm.

• Teams must register with partner.
