Valentine's Run

Come out for a jog and

It's Valentine's Day! Let's have some fun. Wear Valentine's colours (Pink, Red, Purple) or whatever you feel inspired to wear. and we'll go for a jog on the seawall and we'll have a coffee after. Otherwise, this is an easy social run. Its meant for runners of all levels. We run for 30 mins and generally do around 4-5K.

Theme:  Wear Valentine's colours (Pink, Red, Purple) or whatever you feel inspired to wear.

Need ideas for where to find a costume:

• Amy's on Davie

   is a dollar store that has some great bright accessories.

• Dressew in Gastown is great (they also have a much larger selection online)

• Online Stores work too.

• Any other Dollarstore should have something to brighten your attire.

• Get creative, you don't need to blow the bank to have a great costume

Quick Agenda:

3. Break into pace groups, 

4. Jog 

5. Post run coffee and baked goods (sometimes gelato).

Paces:

Our pace groups are: 6, 6:30 and 7mins/K

This is meant to be social, so find an easy pace for you, so you can chat and meet some great people. Remember when you run and talk, your pace slows down significantly (at least 30secs/K) or you start huffing and puffing. 

We'd also love to open up slower pace groups or if you'd like to just come and use the group as an accountability session, you can start with us and then meet us for coffee after.

Post Run:

We'll end in Yaletown and then go to a local coffee shops, smaller groups will decide where they go and we'll meet in a park/open area to enjoy them together
